The main material of the cap body is cLc cap body (complex laminate construction), which is made exclusively by Arai using the latest super fiber, an expensive material that costs 6 times more than regular glass fiber. Arai’s latest material is the result of further improvements made to a special glass fiber with higher fiber density and 40% higher tensile and compressive strength than regular glass fiber. It is the perfect material to construct the strong and tenacious cap body, which is essential for “head protection”. Furthermore, the AR mat (internal material), a light organic material that is combined as a composite material, has been improved to have a higher adhesion with the new super fiber, increasing its strength.
