*The doors are locked by reading the RPMs, not the vehicle speed for gasoline vehicles. Therefore, the timing of locking varies slightly depending on how hard the accelerator pedal is pressed, but they are locked at approximately 10km/h to 15km/h.

When using the remote park function (parking remotely) on a vehicle equipped with the manufacturer’s option Advanced Park (with remote function), if the answer backlight function is turned on, it will be assumed that someone is in the vehicle, and the remote park function cannot be used. If you use the remote park function, turn the answer backlight function off.

There has been much talk about tailgating in recent years, and the door may suddenly open towards you. But if it’s locked, you can rest assured! To prevent tailgating, set the unlock timing to “when the engine is off,” if you often get on and off the car, such as for pick-up and drop-off, set it to “P shift!”

[Function description]

1. Door locks at approximately 10 to 15 km/h or in “D” shift (with switching function)
Have you ever had a scary experience when your child opened the door in a hurry even though the car had not yet stopped?
This prevents children from opening the door by mistake, etc.
*For gasoline vehicles, the specifications are such that the number of rotations is read and the door is locked. Therefore, the timing of locking varies slightly depending on how hard the accelerator pedal is pressed, but it locks at approximately 10 km/h to 15 km/h.
*If you manually unlock the door with the switch, it will not automatically relock until you put the shift lever in “P” again. (If the unlock timing is set to “Unlock with the engine off,” it will not automatically relock.)

2. Unlock the door by shifting to P after stopping or turning off the engine (with a switching function)
The lock will automatically unlock when you put the shift lever in P!
Enables passengers to get in and out smoothly.
Also, if you set the door to be unlocked with the engine off, you can rest assured that the door will remain locked even if the car is forcibly stopped and the door is suddenly opened, such as by tailgating.

3. Answer the backlight function (with ON/OFF switching function)
The small light will turn on for 10 seconds when you turn off the engine and open the door for the first time (first time only). Also, the small light will turn on for 10 seconds when you unlock the door (when you press the unlock button on your car) (when you press the unlock button once with the smart key)
*If this function is ON, you cannot use the manufacturer’s optional remote park function. If you usually use the remote park function, please turn off the answer backlight function.

4. Emergency auto door lock release: This function is unavailable for gasoline vehicles. Please note.

Activates when decelerating suddenly at approximately 40km/h or more (from 60km/h to 20km/h or less, etc.). It unlocks the door to prepare for an emergency and avoids the risk of being trapped when escaping from one.
*The time it takes for deceleration to operate typically depends on the vehicle model. Please note that it may not operate even when braking suddenly.
*The function cannot be turned off.

– Some functions of this product cannot be used under the following conditions.

〇 If you are using the remote park function (parking operation from outside the vehicle) on a vehicle equipped with the manufacturer’s option Advanced Park (with remote function), if the answer backlight function is turned on, it will be assumed that there is someone in the vehicle and the remote park function will not be available. If you use the remote park function from outside the vehicle, please set the answer backlight function of the product to OFF.

〇 The door unlock function of this product does not activate when braking suddenly on gasoline vehicles. Please note that this is a product specification.

・If the rear monitor guidelines are initialized
When installing, if you leave the connector under the steering wheel disconnected for a certain period or more, the rear monitor guide (the lines in the rear camera image when backing up) may be initialized.

If this happens, turn off the engine, restart it, shift into reverse, turn the steering wheel to the left for 10 seconds, then turn it to the right for 10 seconds. This will return the rear monitor guidelines to normal.

・If an error is displayed on the information display after installation
Similarly, if the connector is disconnected for a certain period or more, an error, such as a clearance sonar, may be displayed on the information display.
If you drive a few hundred meters, the loading settings for the function that displayed the error will be completed again, and the error display will disappear. If the error does not disappear even after driving, there is a possibility of poor contact with the connector, so please reconnect the product connector firmly.

*Please note that some functions may not work due to compatibility issues specific to the year, version, or vehicle.
– When the vehicle is manually locked or unlocked, the set lock/unlock functions may not work as configured. If this happens, turn the engine off and restart it to lock/unlock as configured.
