Features
■Piston
Basic diameter: Φ88/Piston weight: 314g
Adopts a crown shape that speeds up the spread of combustion, suppressing knocking and achieving a high compression ratio.
Using A2618 material with high-temperature strength makes it possible to make the material thinner, resulting in a lighter weight.
We have eliminated excess material and achieved a lighter weight by producing it by cutting.
By adopting a bridge structure, we have increased the structural rigidity and achieved a lighter weight.
The cooling oil of the three oil jets is guided to the appropriate location, allowing for effective cooling.
The upper part of the top ring groove is nickel-plated to improve knock and wear resistance.
A two-layer coating has been adopted to improve seizure resistance and reduce friction.
By shortening the piston pin, the boss part has been made lighter.
The top ring is titanium coated to improve durability.
The edges prone to becoming heat spots have been thoroughly removed by machining.
Triple Tumble Crown Structure
The tumble flow distribution throughout the combustion chamber has been optimized to suppress knocking.
The piston’s central protrusion splits the air entering from the intake port into two parts to form a tumble flow, further promoting the mixing of fuel and air.
When the piston rises, a third tumble flow is generated on the central intake side, and the flame that ignites near the outer periphery of the intake side, where knocking is likely to occur, spreads rapidly, suppressing the occurrence of knocking.

■ Connecting rod
A machined I-section connecting rod made of nickel-chrome steel is used.
Strength is increased by 25% compared to the genuine product.
Compatible with Φ24 piston pins.
The surface has been treated with WPC to improve fatigue strength.
■Crank
A fully counter crankshaft machined from chrome steel reduces the burden on the main bearings.
The inertia weight has been reduced by efficiently positioning the counterweight and reducing the weight of the pin.
The response has been improved by removing the balance shaft.
The balance rate of 50% suppresses the vibrations unique to 3-cylinder engines.
