Cutting-edge aerodynamic form
Kabuto’s unique aerodynamic device “Wake Stabilizer (PAT.NO.4311691)” developed using CFD (3D computational fluid analysis) and a helmet with a frontal projection area narrowed to the limit reduces air resistance not only when driving straight but also when facing crosswinds or looking backwards. Furthermore, the new adoption of the “Crest Spoiler (PAT.P)” device, which suppresses the force that causes the helmet to lift up due to the wind while driving and contributes greatly to excellent aerodynamic performance, greatly contributes to maintaining high concentration at all speeds.

Crest spoiler (PAT.P.)
This device intentionally disrupts the airflow above the helmet, suppressing the force that tends to lift it up, and also contributes to the excellent aerodynamic performance of the F-17. It adopts a bow shape that is effective at a wide range of angles, and this is the device size where the effect is most noticeable.

Wake Stabilizer (PAT.)
Kabuto’s patented system controls the airflow around the helmet while riding, reducing the load on the rider. It was developed through many years of research and wind tunnel testing. It controls the airflow, reducing lift and air resistance. It increases the stability of the helmet when riding at high speeds.

Cutting-edge shell molding technology and safety design
The helmet is made of high-strength composite material (ACT-2) that has excellent penetration resistance and shock absorption, and the strength of each part has been optimized by introducing FEM (Finite Element Method) structural analysis. Its incredible lightness, which improves safety and reduces strain on the neck, reduces the burden on the rider in all situations.

New shell structure “ACT-2”
The ACT-2 structure is an evolution of the well-established ACT structure. It meets the MFJ safety standards, which require strict penetration resistance, at a high level, while also using high-strength organic fibers in the chin guard to further improve the strength of the shell.

Side ventilation
The side ventilation is designed to capture the wind efficiently even when cornering, and to introduce the same amount of air as when going straight. Combined with the chin ventilation, which has been significantly enlarged in both opening area and width, fresh air is constantly drawn into the helmet.

Center lock/two-axis ratchet shield system
The new 2-axis “DAF-R ratchet”, the DAF-1R shield that can be quickly replaced, and the newly shaped integrated trim rubber improve sealing and quietness. The center lock system with a large lever also allows you to open and close it reliably even while wearing gloves.

Top Aero Ventilation
Kabuto’s unique system rectifies the airflow and releases hot air trapped inside the helmet. It secures an air route that passes through the inside of the shell and leads to the air exhaust path in the rear ventilation fin, achieving both excellent ventilation performance and weight reduction.
*The rear ventilation does not have an opening/closing function.

“Antibacterial treatment” interior *Used in some areas
The inner padding is treated with DEOFACTOR® antibacterial processing, which inhibits the growth of bacteria on fabrics. DEOFACTOR® uses its antibacterial properties to break down harmful substances that adhere to clothing and textile products.

Emergency system (PAT.P) *Cannot be used except in emergencies
In the event of an accident, even in situations where rescuers need to remove the helmet easily, quickly and safely, Kabuto’s unique structure allows the interior urethane material to be pulled out, leaving the fabric that touches the cheeks intact, making it smooth and putting less strain on the rider.
