1 PLATE CLUTCH
SINGLE PLATE/HGH UTILITY CLUTH SERIES
Since its release, ORC has been well-received by users for its “easy to ride” design know-how, and this high-performance single clutch for lightly tuned cars has been developed by incorporating elemental technologies accumulated through race support. Available in 309 and 409 series depending on the vehicle.
It provides a mild and outstanding pedal feeling and reliable torque transmission, while also being offered at a reasonable price.
A wide lineup is available to suit any situation, including a silent type that suppresses backlash noise, a damperless type that prioritizes response, and a high μ disc type.
2 PLATE CLUTCH
TWIN PLATE/SUPER PERFORMANCE CLUTH SERIES
The Twin Plate series is extremely popular and well-received. It maintains a mild and outstanding pedal feeling
while also being compatible with high-powered vehicles due to the increased friction area.
The 559 series offers a high level of balance between transmission force, sharpness, and half-clutch feeling, while the 659 series focuses on transmission force.
3 PLATE CLUTCH
TRIPPLE PLATE/HIGH PERFORMANCE CLUTH SERIES
This high capacity clutch has been designed to minimize changes in the clutch engagement point and
to emphasize sharpness.
It has the durability and reliability to withstand drag racing.
A silent type option is available that suppresses the backlash (rustling) noise that occurs when the clutch is released, which is unique to lug drive clutches .
The coil spring holds down the pressure plate and suppresses vibration.
This spring also makes it easier for the pressure plate to return to the cover side,
improving the “disengagement” of the clutch.
Damper-less type with excellent response when engaging (can be selected for single or twin clutch)
The standard type uses a disc with a damper to emphasize operability, but
for those who want a better response when hitting the ball, we offer a damperless option. This
provides a more direct transmission feel.
Note: The damperless type is more difficult to half-clutch than the damper type.
Uses high μ discs developed specifically for drag clutches to further increase torque.
Note: High μ disc types are more difficult to half-clutch than regular discs.
In terms of heat countermeasures, slits are made in the friction surfaces of the pressure plate and mid plate, and
each friction surface is segmented. The cooling effect of the friction surfaces due to these slits and the segmentation make the contact uniform , which enables more stable torque transmission.
The floating hub mechanism (PAT.P) is an evolution of the drive hub system, which is known for its durability and ease of use.
It reduces changes in the meet position, improving competitiveness.
The clutch is also excellent, achieving the strict clutch meet required for drag racing.
