SARD DAMPER is installed in the front and rear of the cabin where the body twists significantly, suppressing unpleasant vibrations and roll overshoot. It achieves both improved steering response and a high-quality ride.

The components incorporate a damper with a damping mechanism, which improves steering operability and suppresses minute vibrations that can be felt by humans. The friction damper, which combines Aisin’s unique mechanical structure of a disc spring + friction plate, is effective even when the extension stroke speed is low, so it improves steering response and better settles the roll angle compared to oil-type dampers.
