The stabilizer reduces the difference between the left and right sides, which occurs when the twisting action of the rod activates the suspension. It suppresses the roll of the vehicle body. However, this is conditional on the angle of the stabilizer end being appropriate for the trajectory (movement line) of the suspension stroke. In the case of a lowered caravan, the stabilizer end, which moves in a circular motion around the journal part attached to the member side, is pushed by the link and jumps up. Usually, the lower arm, which receives input from the road surface, twists the stabilizer through the stabilizer link. Still, the stabilizer end, which has already reached the limit of its operating range, lifts the body with the journal part as a fulcrum. This problem goes beyond anti-roll performance; it is like directly connecting the suspension and the body. The “Adjustable Stabilizer Link” is an essential item for lowered vehicles, as it adjusts the overall length of the link to a position that does not interfere with the stabilizer’s function.
