To restore the racing pad’s original performance, heat must be applied in advance before the race. This work is called “bedding.”

While avoiding hard braking, raise the disc rotor temperature to around 500°C to make the brake pad and disc rotor hit.
When it hits, stop running and cool the disc rotor to 100°C or less by natural cooling. With the above, the brake pad film is completed on the disc rotor, and the work is completed.
One part number uses a “ceramic coating” on the back plate to suppress heat transfer to the caliper piston.
These brake pads are intended for full-scale racing use. The machine, setting, and brake systems, such as the brake caliper, circuit, and driver, influence brake pad characteristics. Please consult with our staff about the selection of brake pads.
