The Motion Control Beam is a part that brings out a vehicle’s inherent driving performance, improving stability and comfort for a truly enjoyable driving experience!

While Motion Control Beams are sold by various manufacturers, primarily for passenger cars, sports cars, minivans, and SUVs, few manufacturers offer them at YONQ. While this is still the case, 4×4 Engineering focused on the frame distortion and vibration that occur during driving in ladder-frame vehicles like the Land Cruiser Prado and Hilux.

Based on Aisin’s proprietary friction damper (MCB), we developed a vehicle-specific bracket kit. By optimally mounting MCBs in three locations on the frame—front, center, and rear—we suppress body distortion and unpleasant vibration, improving vehicle stability and control.

Combining disc springs and friction plates, the MCB is effective even at low extension/retraction stroke speeds, resulting in improved steering response and roll angle control compared to oil dampers.

By appropriately limiting road input from escaping into the body, the suspension can perform its intended function. This part is recommended for a wide range of users, from lifted vehicles to those with factory ride height.
