Taking into consideration the size of the GR Supra and the needs of its users, the wing itself has a relatively modest design with a low height, but was developed with use on circuits and in sports driving in mind.

Not only does this elegant curve have a beautiful form that creates optimal downforce, but it also makes use of the downforce generated by the difference in air flow speed between the upper and lower surfaces of the wing, while reducing air resistance as much as possible when driving on a straight line, without sacrificing top speed, and allows stable cornering with sufficient downforce when cornering, giving it the performance of a full-fledged rear wing.

*We have conducted extensive research into aerodynamic parts, including wind tunnel experiments, and have achieved a high level of balance between the conflicting properties of downforce and drag reduction, allowing the GR Supra equipped with the GR Supra 3D Rear Wing Ver. STD to achieve the highest top speed record in Japan at 289.27 km/h (as of September 2020).
