Subaru horizontally opposed engine dedicated type [B-8202]
For vehicles equipped with a Subaru horizontally-opposed engine, a “high-pressure type” oil filter with high relief valve pressure is used as a genuine product.
If the filter is not suitable for this relief pressure, if you continue to use it while it is dirty and clogged, foreign matter in the dirty oil may enter the engine as it is, or you may not be able to secure an appropriate amount of oil.
Blitz’s racing oil filter for horizontally opposed engines is designed to maximize this pressure to maximize filtration performance and adequate oil volume

For the TOYOTA 86 and SUBARU BRZ equipped with a horizontally opposed engine, we have prepared a special size that maximizes performance according to the situation peculiar to the NA engine that frequently uses high rotation during sports driving.
Although it is a “high-pressure type”, it uses a large capacity type with a large oil flow rate.
It is a high-grade type exclusively for 86 / BRZ that secures sufficient capacity even at high rpm and realizes long life while maintaining high filtration performance.
