With normal coils, sparks are generated before reaching the saturation current value in the medium to high rotation range, so in addition to not being able to produce a stable spark, there is a risk of misfire occurring in the high rotation range. With the CUSCO direct ignition coil, the rising efficiency of the primary current is improved to bring it as close as possible to the saturation current value, and because the current falls rapidly when the current is saturated, it is possible to generate flame kernels more rapidly than with normal coils. As a result, a more powerful spark is obtained, establishing an unprecedented combustion state and suppressing misfires in the high rotation range.

The filter effect also removes unnecessary noise and achieves stable sparking even in the high rotation range. In addition, by improving combustion efficiency, it also contributes to the reduction of harmful substances such as CO/HC.
