Overview

Defi-Link Meter ADVANCE BF is a link meter that is used by connecting to Defi-Link Advanced Control Unit SE or Advance Control Unit.

“BF” is an acronym for blackface, and is the name given to a type of meter whose dial is invisible when the ignition is turned off. The BF-type meter lights up as soon as the ignition is turned on, and the letters and scale are illuminated even during the day.

Engine lubrication management is essential for sports driving that frequently uses high engine speeds. The oil pressure gauge is a meter that checks whether the engine oil is being sent throughout the engine and whether the oil is deteriorating.

Whether the oil pressure is normal or not has a very large effect on the engine, and if the oil pressure suddenly drops, especially at high revolutions, the engine is on the verge of destruction. Normal oil pressure is generally 100 to 500 kPa when driving when the vehicle is clean and has an appropriate amount of oil. However, the oil pressure varies depending on the car model, oil, and engine tune, so if you remember the normal oil pressure, you can use it as a guide to whether it is normal or not.

There are seven models of Φ52: turbo gauge, intake manifold gauge, oil pressure gauge, fuel pressure gauge, oil temperature gauge, water temperature gauge, and exhaust gas temperature gauge.
Φ80 has two models of tachometers with different scales.

The lighting color can be switched between two colors, classic green and classic white (bulb color). Also, for a nostalgic effect, the brightness is lowered and adjusted to be darker than other Decentralized meters.
The NS logo of Nippon Seiki is placed instead of the Defi logo.
The color of the pointer is white when the lighting is off and red when the lighting is on.
Up to 7 meters can be connected to one ADVANCE control unit.

Parts

Defi-Link ADVANCE SYSTEM cannot be connected to Defi-Link SYSTEM products. They are also not compatible. Only sensors other than the turbo sensor are common, but the sensor harness is different, so a sensor harness for the Defi-Link ADVANCE SYSTEM is required.
When using it, please prepare an ADVANCE series meter or display (sold separately).
