Oil Cooler/Heat Exchanger

DRL’s general-purpose oil coolers are designed for a pressure of 1.5 MPa or less. The heat exchanger KAN is designed for a pressure of 2.0 MPa or less for oil and 0.14 MPa or less for water.
●For the general-purpose oil coolers, the materials used are intended for the circulation of the oil.
Therefore, please do not use them with water or long-life coolant.
●For our heat exchangers, different types of materials are specially used for oil pipes and water pipes.
Please be careful when connecting pipes and handle them appropriately.
Oil leakage not only inconveniences other drivers but can also lead to serious accidents. When using our oil coolers or heat exchanges, please consult a professional shop that specializes in motorsports about the specifications of your car in order to properly install them. We also strongly recommend conducting periodic checks after installation to see if oil is leaking or if oil stains appear around the joints.

U type [Left side illustration]
This type circulates the oil in a U shape and is suitable for oil with low viscosity. Compared to one that is straight, this type cools the oil for a longer period, resulting in a greater cooling effect.

I type [Right Side Illustration]
This type circulates the oil in a straight line and is suited for oil with high viscosity. As this type cools the oil in a shorter amount of time compared to the U-shaped one, the loss of pressure is minimized.
