We have completed a high-compression forged piston for the Jimny. The compression ratio has been increased from 8.4 to 8.9, aiming for increased torque at low and mid-range. Adjusting the ECU settings improves response across the entire range. Compared to the stock cast pistons, they are more heat-resistant and can handle more power. We recommend using a higher-grade forged piston when overhauling your engine.
*Gasket thickness and combustion chamber adjustments may be required when using the stock compression ratio.
