The structure of the bore seal surface uses a grommet structure from among several types. We have selected the optimal specifications for specifications that require high supercharging and high combustion pressure in harsh competitions such as drag racing and time attacks.
The sealing limit is improved by ensuring surface pressure on the gas-sealing surface. The inner surface of the bore is sandwiched between integral plates so that it wraps around the gasket board, ensuring strong gas sealing.
Shims are installed at the front and rear ends of the deck to prevent the head from deforming into a bow when tightening the head bolts. Because it has a grommet structure with high bore sealing properties, consideration has been given to the deformation of the front and rear parts of the deck.
The top and bottom surfaces of the gasket use plates that are made of a strong base substrate coated with multiple layers of synthetic rubber. The coating layer firmly bites into the fine irregularities that exist on the block deck surface and the bottom surface of the head, ensuring sealing performance without creating any gaps.
By providing a bead on the plate with this structure, the sealing performance and wear resistance are further strengthened, improving the reliability of the outer periphery, around the bolts, and in the oil passage.
