The LA Clutch series introduces a purpose-engineered high-performance clutch kit. It is specifically developed to unlock and manage elevated power levels for the Honda S2000 (AP1/AP2). Designed with an estimated capacity of 280kW (380PS) and an allowable torque of 450N・m (46kgf・m), this kit delivers overwhelming holding capability from a single-disc clutch system.

This provides a decisive advantage for high-powered applications. By masterfully balancing extreme torque capacity with reduced weight, it enhances performance without compromising drivability. Furthermore, it effectively doubles driving pleasure even in naturally aspirated vehicles.

It also delivers immediate, positive lockup during aggressive circuit driving without slippage. Its low-inertia design reduces load on synchronizers for quicker, crisper gear changes.

The clutch cover utilizes a robust strap drive mechanism, ensuring consistent and reliable clutch actuation. Additionally, it eliminates jerky low-RPM behavior. Meanwhile, the reduced kit weight (as low as 64% of AP2 OEM) decreases drivetrain inertia.

An integrated disc damper system effectively reduces transmission gear rattle and unpleasant NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness), increasing cabin comfort. Furthermore, this damper protects the entire drivetrain—including gears, axles, and differential. It absorbs and cushions shock torque from aggressive launches or sudden shifts.
