JAOS TRIBE CROSS is the third product in the TRIBE series, developed in collaboration with ENKEI, an aluminum wheel manufacturer with the top market share domestically and internationally. Like the conventional TRIBE series, this is a high-performance wheel packed with various know-how to achieve specifications that can be installed on TEAM JAOS’ rally machines. The rim uses MAT PROCESS molding to achieve material strength comparable to forging, and a double flange shape to increase impact resistance, gaining strength and lightness. Furthermore, a fin-like rib shape is placed on the outer circumference of the disc. In addition, the 10 spokes that fall in a concave shape toward the center express a variety of expressions depending on the viewing angle due to the cross-sectional shape with hollowed-out sides. This is a new 4WD wheel that combines a sporty and light feel with strength that rivals the volume of the body.

THE
MAT PROCESS manufacturing method achieves a strength comparable to forging
Cast wheels have advantages in terms of design freedom and price, but compared to forging, they have a slight disadvantage in terms of weight. Therefore, Japan’s leading wheel manufacturer, Enkei, developed the MAT PROSESS manufacturing method. After casting, the rim is strengthened and stretched to achieve material strength comparable to forging. The MAT PROCESS manufacturing method creates wheels with both the lightweight rim molded through this process and the disc design unique to casting.

TRIBE CROSS is available in a new color, titanium gold, and the JAOS wheel standard matte gun metallic. Painting using particles larger than normal paint can create a unique texture and gloss.
