[Optimization of pedal shape and angle]
Looking at the movement of the contact surface between the pedal and the shoe during accelerator operation, when the accelerator is lightly depressed, the contact surface with the shoe is near the bottom edge from the center of the pedal. When you step on the accelerator fully, the contact surface moves to the top according to the movement. The angle of the accelerator pedal and the shape (arc) of the pedal surface, which is the contact surface of the shoes, are created to match this movement.
In addition, the shape of the lowermost end on the brake side has been devised to make it easier for MT car drivers to perform heel-and-toe operations during sports driving.
