Description

A must-have when replacing a rear bumper. You can install large diameter tires, wide tires, and aluminum wheels, and install the wheels facing outward.

Caution
For use with spare tires only. Do not install a spare tire and heavy items at the same time. The increased weight may damage the genuine rear gate.

●The central unit consists of a plate for moving the mounting position and a bracket for mounting the wheel. If the bracket is installed facing upwards, the wheel will move 90 mm up and 100 mm to the right (photos 1, 4, 5, 6). Also, if the bracket is installed facing downwards, it will move 100 mm to the right at the same height as the normal one (photos 3, 7, 8, 9).

●The front and rear can be adjusted between 130 and 160 mm from the tailgate surface. The wipers can be used as is. To install the wheel, use the taper nuts included with the genuine spare tire bracket.

■To install the main unit, replace and install the genuine bracket and moving plate, and then install the wheel mounting bracket. For front and rear adjustment, fix the tire in a position where it does not come into contact with the wiper. This product uses a wing screw in the adjustment part to make it compliant with vehicle inspections, so please tighten it very firmly with the strength of an adult male. Also, be sure to check for any looseness before and after driving. (Please note that the driver is responsible for any luggage that falls off while driving.)

* Depending on the type of cover, it may not be possible to use it in combination with a genuine spare tire cover, or the cover may need to be modified.

<Regarding vehicle inspection>

(Confirmed at the Sagami Branch of the Kanagawa Office of the Light Vehicle Inspection Association)

● The wheel mounting bracket protrudes from the light vehicle frame, but the protruding part (the split adjustment part of the bracket) can be removed and attached with a wing screw without using tools, so it will continue to pass the vehicle inspection. However, whether or not to remove it during the actual vehicle inspection is at the discretion of the on-site inspector. Same as for roof carriers, etc.
