Critical Installation & Safety Information

⚠️ One-Touch Type – IMPORTANT NOTES

Installation:

• Requires removal and transfer of factory mounting hardware

• Cap may feel extremely tight during initial installation

• Several open/close cycles will achieve appropriate operating resistance

Gasket Maintenance:

• Filler gasket requires periodic inspection and replacement

• Deteriorated packing may cause oil seepage

• 4G63 engines (high pressure) require particular vigilance – inspect frequently

Oil Seepage Prevention:

• Some one-touch type installations may experience oil seepage

• Applying liquid gasket or sealant to the countersunk screw area during installation is recommended

Nut Retention – CRITICAL SAFETY:

• The one-touch type includes a self-locking nut to prevent fastener loosening

• For maximum safety, apply thread locker (Loctite) during installation

• If the retaining nut detaches, it will fall into the cylinder head—prevention is essential

• Regularly inspect nut tightness as part of maintenance routine
