It took a while, but we’ve finally completed a swan-neck wing that meets domestic safety standards. The most challenging part was the request to keep the swan-neck bracket from tilting forward to meet safety standards. After several iterations, we finally got it right.

We designed it to look as cohesive as possible when fully installed on a factory vehicle, so we think it will look even better if you adjust the lowering suspension and wheel flush.

What is Type 4B?

Based on Type 4, we modified the wing surface shape (viewed from above) to fit the rear of the FL5. The wing cross-section was also designed with front-wheel drive vehicles in mind. In terms of downforce, it generates more downforce than the low-downforce Type 4 and less downforce than Type 2. While the image shows a swan-neck wing, a standard-mount version is also available, as shown below.
