[Bedding method]
circuit-specific pads that emphasize high-temperature properties, in order to bring out their original performance, it is essential to apply heat to the pads before doing hard driving, which is called “bedding.”
Bedding is always done in the top categories of SUPER GT and WRC, as well as in various races held in Europe.
Before using semi-metallic brake pads, proper bedding is required to stabilize high-temperature performance and extend the life of the pads and rotor.

[How to bedding]
When driving on a circuit when a new product is installed, raise the rotor temperature to around 400 to 500℃ while avoiding hard braking and apply the bedding. After that, the temperature is reduced to below 100℃ by natural cooling.

*Bedding in the rain may not bring out the original performance of the brake pads. Bedding should be done on sunny days whenever possible.
