This auto hazard system helps prevent unexpected collisions by turning on the hazard lights when getting on or off the vehicle at a roadside stop or when reversing in a parking lot.
In places where many cars are passing each other on narrow roads, such as when dropping off or picking up children, the driver of the other car may not notice even if you see them.
When opening the door or backing up, you can prevent collisions by flashing the hazard warning lights to alert those around you of your actions.
Also, with a genuine hazard, you might forget to put it back and the battery will die, but with this kit, it turns on and off automatically, so you don’t have to worry about the battery dying.
Installation is completely coupler-on with connectors attached to all wiring destinations, so it can be easily installed without damaging the original wiring. Moreover, it is easy to return to the original state.

1. Hazard lights up when you open the door ★On/off function available!

2. Hazard lights up when you shift into reverse ★On/off function available!
It’s a pain to have to press the hazard button every time you park your car.
When you shift into reverse, the hazard lights will flash automatically, so it’s easy!

■Setting ON/OFF of function/setting the number of hazards■
Settings can be made using the upper and lower levers on the controller box.
1. Door open hazard function
On the lever: Hazard lights up when the door is opened. Lower lever: Function OFF

2. Hazard function when shifting back
On the lever: When you shift back (R), the hazard lights will light up. Lower lever: Function OFF

3. The number of hazards is the maximum number of times the hazard will flash when the door is kept open (same as when reversing).
The hazard will stop when it flashes a set number of times.
On the lever: Maximum number of hazards is 20. Lever down: Maximum number of hazards is 30 times

4. If you want to adjust the number of switching levers No. 3 (20/30 hazards), move lever No. 4 upward.
If you want the maximum number of hazard flashes to be 40 times, move the lever down.

5. If you cannot use the hazard function when reversing, please move the lever to the “down” position.

*The hazard will turn off when it reaches the set number of flashes (20 to 40 times).
*For settings, remove the connector connected to the controller box when the engine is OFF, and then reconnect the connector wiring to the controller box after changing the settings. Even if you change the settings while the connector is connected, the settings will not be reflected.
*The shift-back hazard function cannot be used on some grades. (Please see compatible car models)

【Notes】
・When the back monitor guide line is initialized
If the connector under the steering wheel is left disconnected for a certain period of time during installation, the rear monitor guide (the line in the rear camera image when reversing) may be initialized.
In that case, turn off the engine, start it again, shift into reverse, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left for 10 seconds, then turn it all the way to the right for 10 seconds. The guide line will return to normal.

・If an error message appears on the information display after installation
Similarly, if the connector is disconnected for a certain period of time, errors such as clearance sonar may appear on the information display.
In that case, if you continue driving for several hundred meters, the loading settings for the function that caused the error display will be completed and the error display will disappear. If the error does not disappear even after driving, there is a possibility that the connector has a poor connection, so please reconnect the product’s connector firmly.
