■ Checking after installation
○ After installing this product, please drive after checking that it is properly installed so that there are no problems with driving.
■ About painting FRP and carbon products If the precautions listed are not observed, the painter is responsible for the painting.
1. Before painting
○ Be sure to temporarily assemble the product on the vehicle and check it.
○ Check that all components are present and that there are no cracks or damage. However, due to the manufacturing process and nature of the product, all products are assumed to be installed after painting. It is assumed that small pinholes, cracks, scratches, etc. will be repaired before painting. (Please note that scratches can be repaired with putty, etc.)
○ Check in advance which surfaces will be visible (prominent surfaces) and which surfaces will be hidden when installed on the vehicle, and then plan for preparation and painting.
2. Regarding Pretreatment
○ Sanding is required for painting FRP products. ○ A release agent is used in the production process. Prepare the surface to be painted with Silicon Off or similar. Fix small pinholes, cracks, scratches, etc. on the product with putty.
3. Regarding Painting
○ Do not bake paint on the product. Excessive deformation and surface peeling may occur when heated. Always paint at room temperature.
○ Clear paint is also recommended for small products. Clear paint will help maintain the luster of the product and make it last longer. Please understand the above before performing the installation work.
