Description

This is a set of duct parts for the second intake path, added to the GRC26.
The part numbers for each part are as follows:

– Radiator cover (53289-12150)
– Duct body (17755-18010)
– Duct cover (17754-18010)
– Clips (90467-07215) x 5 (However, two clips cannot be installed for the Easy Installation option.)

This is a simple, plug-and-play option for the GRC25 (however, if you have a GR Parts intake duct installed, one modification is required).

1. Remove the radiator cover.
2. Remove the intake duct.
3. If using a GR duct, cut off any interfering cool air duct sections (standard ducts are fine without modification).
4. Remove and shift the air cleaner box lid.
5. Remove the bottom of the air cleaner box by pulling it upwards. (It’s just a prick, not secured by screws, so just pull it out. Be careful not to damage the harness or air hose.)
6. Place the cool air duct in place. Insert clips into the two holes on the bulkhead and secure it to the air cleaner box stay.
7. Replace the bottom of the air cleaner box.
8. Replace the intake duct.
9. Secure the intake duct and cool air duct with clips.
10. Attach the radiator cover (there are plenty of clips, so don’t forget them).
11. Attach the cool air duct lid with three clips.

This completes the installation.
It is unclear whether the GRC24 has the holes required for step 6 in the bracket, but there is almost no wobbling even without them, so I think it is probably not necessary to install them.
Even for the GRC25, if you do not install this, the installation is straightforward, and you can skip steps 4 and 5. In this case, it may be easier to install the cool air duct if you slide it in from the passenger side.
