There is a limit to the amount of energy that any helmet can absorb, so in real-life cases, large amounts of energy have no choice but to be dodged. That’s why Arai has pursued a smooth shape that easily evades impacts and a strong cap body. Until now, the shield mounting part required a slight step in order to open and close. In order to further improve the performance of avoiding impact, we lowered the shield attachment part by approximately 14mm using the proven Snell standard test line as a guide, creating a smoother form on the side of the helmet’s head.

Equipped with racing high spec as is.

The same diffuser as the RX-7X, which was developed for racing, is mounted on the open face. The evolution of the spoiler function combined with fixed aero fins further reduces rear turbulence at high speeds. Intake efficiency is increased by 19% compared to diffuser Type 10 (SZ-Ram4).
The latest diffuser system is quiet and easy to operate, with a large switch that allows you to reliably adjust the amount of air intake when fully opened or partially opened, and improved soundproofing and rainproofing performance when fully closed.

A large switch allows for reliable operation and adjustment of the air intake amount when fully open or half open.

The intake opening that takes in the air has been revised and the intake amount has been increased by approximately 11% compared to Delta Duct 5 (SZ-Ram4). The switch is larger and can be operated more reliably even while wearing thick gloves. The latest air ventilation allows you to choose between half open and fully open depending on the driving situation, and when fully closed, the soundproofing and rainproofing performance is greatly improved.

The “Aero Fin”, designed for maximum speed in races, is extremely effective in smoothing out turbulence in the rear. The synergistic effect with the “Racing Diffuser”, which has significantly improved quietness and intake efficiency, suppresses the shaking of the helmet and improves stability. The shape, angle, and position were examined to maximize the rectification effect required for touring, and the design was designed to improve comfort and reduce strain on the neck.

Ventilation that efficiently guides air to the forehead to improve the cooling effect and provide a refreshing feeling.
Fresh air taken in from the blow shutter is guided to the forehead through the inner duct. Powerfully cools down the area around your forehead, where you tend to sweat.

NE nozzle side duct 7
Uses negative pressure while driving to exhaust hot air from the back of the head while also suppressing turbulence.

Using negative pressure while riding, the heated air around the ears and the air stagnant at the back of the head are powerfully discharged from the exhaust nozzle on the neck pad, keeping the internal environment of the helmet comfortable (NE nozzle). Furthermore, the exhaust air suppresses turbulence at the rear, contributing to the stability of the helmet. The synergistic effect with 〈Side Duct 7〉 further improves the exhaust efficiency of the lower part and powerfully exhausts the air by negative pressure. By reducing the nozzle area in the neck area, it is easier to put on and take off.
