A racing pad that pursues high effectiveness and linear controllability
- High μ stability that does not change even during high-temperature and high-load driving of heavy and high-power vehicles
- The linear effect that rises as if in response to pedal effort
- High grip radial, S tire, and slick tire are applicable
Material: carbon semi-metal
Appropriate temperature: 200-900℃
Brake dynamometer second fade test data: Initial μ: 0.51 / Average μ: 0.40 to 0.45
In order to bring out the original performance of the racing pad, it is necessary to apply heat and apply it in advance before the race. This work is called “bedding”.
While avoiding hard braking, raise the disc rotor temperature to around 500°C to make the brake pad and disc rotor hit.
When it hits, stop running and cool the disc rotor to 100°C or less by natural cooling. With the above, the brake pad film is completed on the disc rotor, and the work is completed.
One part number uses a “ceramic coating” on the back plate to suppress heat transfer to the caliper piston.
These brake pads are intended for full-scale racing use. The characteristics of brake pads are influenced by the machine, setting, and brake systems such as brake caliper, circuit, and driver. Please consult with our staff, including the selection of brake pads.
Delivery time is about 1 month for build-to-order manufacturing. Please contact us if there is no listing in the compatibility table.
*This type is intended for circuit hard use. A wear sensor is not included as the sensor function will not work due to high heat damage.
If you use it on the street, it may cause harmful effects such as abnormal wear of the brake pad/disc rotor, squeal, dust, and rust due to dust. Also, even if you are driving on a circuit, if you use it outside the appropriate temperature, it will not only not show its original performance, but it may also cause the above-mentioned adverse effects, so please be careful.
