What is brake hold?
After the engine has started, when the driver’s door is closed and the driver’s seat belt is fastened, pressing the brake hold switch will put the brakes into standby mode. When the vehicle comes to a complete stop, such as when waiting at a traffic light, the brakes will be held (fixed). This feature allows you to take your foot off the brake pedal.

Unfortunately…
Brake Hold is a very convenient function because you don’t have to keep pressing the brake pedal while waiting at a traffic light, and you can smoothly activate the brake hold function by turning on the accelerator. It’s a pain to have to press the switch every time you turn it on, etc. It’s a shame since it’s such a convenient function.

That’s where the auto brake hold kit comes in!
If you install the auto brake hold kit, the brake hold function will automatically turn on every time you start the engine without having to press the HOLD button!

When I start the engine, close the driver’s door, and fasten the driver’s seat belt, the green mark indicating the hold function standby automatically lights up. After that, all you have to do is press and release the brake, and the yellow HOLD lamp lights up and you can’t move forward. The brake is held.
Afterward, you can play rock-paper-scissors or tap dance while waiting at a traffic light.

【Notes】
*If you remove your seat belt or open the driver’s door while the brake is on hold, a warning message will appear and the parking brake will be forcibly applied. Also, if the vehicle is stopped for more than 3 minutes with only the hold brake applied, the parking brake will be applied. (Equivalent to genuine specifications)

*If you start the engine while in standby mode, the car’s system protection will be activated and operation of the brake hold function will not be permitted, resulting in an error message saying “Brake hold cannot be turned on due to system protection.”
In that case, you will not be able to use the functions of this product.
By removing system protection, you can use the product’s functions.
Please contact your dealer for information on how to cancel standby mode and system protection.
