This system acts as an advanced companion to the stock ECU. When installing a turbocharger or supercharger, the factory computer cannot accommodate the massive increase in airflow and fuel demand. The F-CON is intercepts and recalibrates key sensor signals and outputs, allowing for proper, high-performance engine control. Two application-specific versions are available:

• For HKS Bolt-On Turbo Kit (Code 42011-AT036): Pre-loaded with optimized maps for the GTIII-RS turbo kit.

  While the harness is plug-and-play, installation requires routing cables through the firewall (grommets needed). Crucially, the system must be professionally installed and the data “reset” (finalized/flashed) by an authorized HKS Power Writer dealer. This ensures proper operation and allows for fine-tuning for your specific vehicle and fuel.
