2nd Generation Honda Vezel e:HEV PLaY
The second-generation “Honda Vezel” was announced on April 22, 2021. This time, I took a test drive on the top grade FWD car “e: HEV PLaY”. The vehicle body price is 3,298,900 yen.
The platform is based on the conventional “Vezel” and has both increased rigidity and reduced weight. The front and rear suspensions are set 10% softer than the conventional type, and improvements such as expanding the rear damper stroke are said to have been made.
The “Vezel e: HEV PLaY” is equipped with the two-motor hybrid system “e: HEV”. Based on the same system used in the “Fit,” optimizations have been made to suit the SUV body, such as increased battery capacity and the increased output of the 1.5-liter engine.

The body size of the “Vezel e: HEV PLaY” is total length x width x height = 4330 x 1790 x 1590 mm, which is 35 mm longer and 20 mm wider than the conventional type. The wheelbase is 2610mm, which is the same as the conventional type.
