“Brake Hold” is a convenient function that allows you to take your foot off the brake pedal while stopped, such as when waiting at a traffic light.
However, with the original, the brake hold function is released when the engine is turned off, or the seat belt is unbuckled, and you have to press the switch each time.

What is a Brake Hold?
After the engine is started, the driver’s door is closed, and the seat belt is fastened. Pressing the brake hold switch puts the vehicle into standby mode. [Notes]
*If you remove your seat belt or open the driver’s door while the brakes are on hold, a warning will appear, and the parking brake will be forcibly applied. Also, the parking brake will be applied if you stop using only the hold brake for more than 3 minutes. (Same as genuine specifications)

[How to switch functions]
It is possible to return to the genuine state.
After starting the engine, while the brake hold (standby) indicator light is on, [press and hold the brake hold switch for about 7 seconds].
→ If the brake hold indicator light flashes 3 times → Function is OFF (genuine state)
→ If the brake hold indicator light flashes once → Function is ON (Brake hold is automatically ON)
Each long press switches the function ON ←→ OFF.
After switching, restart the engine and check if the brake hold indicator light has changed as set.
The brake hold is automatically ON when the engine starts
