Jimny Sierra JB74W (AT car) compatible vehicle speed linked door lock & hazard kit

Exclusively for vehicles equipped with Toyota’s advanced collision avoidance support package TSS (Toyota Safety Sense).
Equipped with 5 functions: automatic door lock, automatic door unlock, sudden deceleration door unlock, automatic hazard when opening the door, and automatic hazard when shifting back.
Lock/unlock timing switchable, hazard ON/OFF switchable
Equipped with a re-lock function, which prevents children and others from unlocking the car while the car is in motion.

Function 1:
Locks at around 15km/h or D shift
It will lock automatically when you put the shift lever in “D” or at around 15km/h.
The functions can be changed by opening the cover of the switch part of the product and moving the lever up and down.
*For some car models, the hazard indicator will flash once when unlocking.

Function 2:
After stopping, use P shift to unlock the door.
If you put the shift lever in P, the lock will be automatically released! Allows passengers to get on and off smoothly.
*For some car models, the hazard indicator will flash twice when unlocking.

Function 3:
Emergency door unlock
*Activates when decelerating approximately 40 km or more. (60km/h to 20km/h or less)
Prepare for emergency evacuation.
*The time required for deceleration to operate normally varies depending on the vehicle model. Please note that it may not operate even when braking suddenly or in the event of a collision.

Function 4:
Auto hazard function
It’s a pain to have to press the hazard button every time you park your car.
When you shift into “reverse”, the hazard lights will flash automatically! It’s easy!
There are surprisingly many collisions and injuries when getting in and out of a car.
If you have this device on, it will flash to alert those around you.
If you open the door while the engine is on, the hazard lights will flash automatically.
(When the engine is off, the hazard indicator will not flash even if the door is opened.)
The hazard function when reversing and the hazard function when opening the door can be switched ON/OFF.
You can open the cover of the switch part of the product and turn it ON/OFF by moving the lever up and down.

[How to switch functions]
Settings can be changed by moving the lever on the controller box on the side of the switch up and down.
Move the lever using a thin-tipped object such as a flathead screwdriver.

On the lever: Door locks at 10km/h to 15km/h
Lower lever: Door locks when shifted to D shift

On the lever: The hazard function is ON when the door is opened
Lower lever: Hazard function is OFF when the door is opened

On the lever: Hazard function is ON when reversing
Lever down: Hazard function is OFF when backing up

*There is no way to switch to unlock. It can only be unlocked with a P shift.

【Notes】
Please understand the following before purchasing.
・When the back monitor guide line is initialized
If the connector under the steering wheel is left disconnected for a certain period during installation, the rear monitor guide (the line in the rear camera image when reversing) may be initialized.
In that case, turn off the engine, start it again, and shift into reverse.
Turn the handle fully counterclockwise for 10 seconds, then fully counterclockwise for 10 seconds, and the rear monitor guideline will return to normal.

・If an error message appears on the information display after installation
Similarly, if the connector is disconnected for a certain period, errors such as clearance sonar may appear on the information display.
In that case, if you continue driving for several hundred meters, the loading settings for the function that caused the error display will be completed and the error display will disappear.
If the error does not disappear even after driving, there is a possibility that the connector has a poor connection, so please reconnect the product’s connector firmly.
