Magnesium, the lightest practical metal, is used for the mainframe. In addition, lightweight strength members such as titanium and carbon have been incorporated in the right place to achieve ultra-lightweight.
Welding magnesium requires advanced technology. Hamamatsu's "craftsmanship" has made possible the most difficult welding with a magnesium frame.
